Blue Sky

Art professor John Rudel and Virginia Wesleyan College students collaborated on this mural located on the rear of Virginia Furniture’s building, in the art alleyway Magazine Lane.

The Nature of Unity

Miami artist Ivan Roque’s mural’s vines and flowers are representative of different cultures, races and how they wrap with ease throughout each other, creating an abstracted but organic composition which blossoms into a natural way of being and unification. The design was modified in 2021 so just the upper story is painted.

My Standards

My Standards by the artist Bage is a 7’ tall one-eyed tomcat made of recycled breaker boxes, a light pole and other found metals. The 3-dimensional feline appeared one night in the tradition of other 2-dimensional graffiti aerosol art and now prowls the NEON looking for fun.
