Very good friend to Push Comedy Theater, veteran of Glass Wheel Studio, NEON Festival performance artist, muralist, wheatpaste expert: Heidi Peelen is the ultimate multi-hyphenate NEON District artist. Using a pen and watercolor drawing that she scanned, vectorized and printed large scale with NEON’s Norfolk Printing Company, Heidi then adhered her print to the backside of Push Comedy Theater with a wheat paste and glue mixture. The work is temporary, much like the lifespan of a fresh batch of McDonald’s French fries.
