ProximityNFK is a juried exhibition of artworks depicting/featuring “local icons and treasures” within a 150 mile radius of Norfolk, Virginia, created by artists who live within 150 miles of Norfolk, Virginia.
Some examples of what “local icons and treasures” are (but not limited to): Monuments, Community Hang Outs, Neighborhoods, Festivals, Events, Buildings, Parks, Nature Reserves, Local Ecosystems & Native Sceneries, Companies, Organizations, Industries, and more!
This exhibition is open to all functional, non-functional, 2D, 3D, fine art, and fine craft in ALL MEDIUMS and ALL STYLES. Work must be hang, or pedestal ready. Work may be no longer than 60” in its longest dimension, and weigh no more than 50 pounds. If you have a question about if your work qualifies, please email abradley@d-artcenter.org
