The City of Norfolk seeks to hire a multidisciplinary team of artists to create a mural and event. The team could consist of mural artist(s), theatre artist(s), performance artist(s), literary artist(s), videographers, or other technical artist(s). The artist team will design and create a mural and a multidisciplinary event that will engage the community and showcase the depth and creativity of Norfolk’s art community.
The mural event should take place in the Berkley neighborhood, in Ocean View near 1st View and West Ocean View Avenue, or near 35th Street and Colley Avenue. Please specify in your proposal which area you prefer to work and a potential building wall location for the mural. The building can be privately owned.
