Always wanted to join in the NEON Festival fun? Now’s the time with the NEON District accepting submissions from artists and performers for programming. This year, the 8th Annual NEON Festival takes place around the district on October 19 and 20, from 6 to 10 pm.
The NEON Festival programming is driven by the community, sourced through this free open call and then organized by a volunteer committee of artists, performers and NEON residents. A variety of spaces are available on both evenings at multiple stages and venues, with opportunities to show art in indoor and outdoor pop-up exhibition spaces and for performers at a variety of neighborhood venues. Visual artists (2D and 3D), musicians, bands, entertainers, dance troupes, theaters, performance artists and cultural organizations are all encouraged to apply.
Submit artworks or proposals from now until August 20, 2023 right here. All applicants will be notified of invitation to participate by August 28, 2023.
