Hampton Boyer
2014-2020
As a working artist in Norfolk during the early years of the NEON District, Hampton Boyer painted walls as part of the Alchemy NFK crew. His signature style was developed through indoor and outdoor murals, layering paint into imaginative, folklore-like figures. Hampton has gone on to exhibit in numerous group show and solo exhibitions, found the Contemporary Arts Network Foundation with fellow artist Asa Jackson, and most recently, had a piece acquired by the Chrysler Museum of Art.
This piece graced the upper floors of the art cooperative’s building until the brick was repointed and the mural damaged.
