The Perry Glass Studio is a 7,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility designed to complement the world-class glass collection in the Museum. It offers free daily demos at noon and a full range of classes. Currently under construction for a renovation and expansion, the new Studio will:
- Triple the square footage of the existing Studio and include a second Hot Shop.
- Double the number of classes available for community members to interact with glass art annually.
- Accommodate larger audiences for demonstrations, educational sessions, and events in a new 200-seat theater.
- Double the time for local artists to utilize glass-blowing equipment and space.
- Grow partnerships with collegiate institutions, as well as build new relationships.
